I designed and created these two shoes for fashion designer Elsien Gringhuis. I created 7 pairs in different colours (grey, white and black.)

These are the first collages I made.
As u can see in the next pictures, I basicly used the pointed front for the wooden underpart of the shoe.

These are pictures of a form study in a simple fabric. Later I translated these formstudys into shoes.

And then... suddenly (I will not mention 4 weeks of woodshaping) 9 pairs of shoes were walking on the catwalk!

The summer of 2008 was a remarkable one! My shoes were shown at almost 11 shows all over Europe. I even talked to Jan Jansen during the Frans Molenaar Award, at the IFWA 08. He told me to "keep on going" and that's exactly what I'm going to do!
